I recognize that making the choice to begin therapy can be difficult and sometimes overwhelming. It is with this understanding, that I respect the courage and motivation that each person brings with them into the therapy relationship. My ultimate goal is to assist and support individuals, couples, and families as they navigate the stressors of daily life as well as hardships of life changes.

I have been working with individuals, families, children, teenagers and couples as they navigate through different challenges for over 10 years. I have focused my work in the areas of behavioral modification, addiction, anxiety, depression, and LGBTQ issues.
I aim to create an open line of communication and a safe environment for self-discovery. Life is a journey, not a destination and I would be honored to help you navigate this journey. “When we are no longer able to change a situation – we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Victor Frankl

The work of walking alongside another person in their pursuit of the way out of pain and toward contentment is wonderful to me. It is such a privilege to do this work, learning who a person is and what's important to them. I greatly value the trust you place in me.

I bring a unique set of experiences to the table, including 10 years as a public school teacher and life as a chronically messy, over-achieving, creative, zany human being. My lens is one of compassion: all behavior has meaning, and I remember that when you share vulnerable things with me. I work hard to be present with every person in every session, and my promise is that I'll sit with you in whatever it is you're struggling with.

I graduated from Purdue Fort Wayne's counseling program in May of 2024 and have experience with clients ranging from kids to mature adults. I specialize in work with teens, but I love working with young-uns, mid-life crises, the wise, and everything in between! I am LGBTQIA+ community-friendly and experienced. I hope you'll take a chance and reach out -- let's see what we can do together!

I graduated from Purdue University Fort Wayne in May of 2025. I am certified as both a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor Associate. I am trained in EMDR and endorsed in Motivational Interviewing. I specialize in working with trauma, addictions, depression/anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADHD. I am a person-centered counselor who utilizes mindfulness, somatic work, Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, and motivational interviewing.
Choosing a counselor can feel like a daunting task, and having a counseling experience built on trust and safety is paramount. Counseling is a collaborative experience between client and counselor and I work to ensure that my clients feel as though they have a partnership within the counseling setting as they work to meet their goals. I consider it a great honor to have the opportunity to be a witness to a person’s joys and pains as they navigate the journey of life. “People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, ‘Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.’ I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.”

Choosing to invest in the journey of personal growth and healing is a brave decision that can feel overwhelming. I believe individuals thrive when they feel free to live a self-determined life that is uniquely and personally meaningful and fulfilling. However, this can seem difficult or impossible when trauma, depression, anxiety, interpersonal stress, or other elements of life become more than we can manage on our own. I see the counseling process as a joint endeavor to better understand your unique experience in the world, your strengths, your dreams, and what may be acting as barriers to growth, peace, and self-actualization.
I prioritize creating a counseling relationship built on acceptance, safety, trust, and authentic connection. I utilize evidence-based practices rooted in humanistic, existential counseling. I incorporate elements of mindfulness, experiential and somatic techniques, parts work, inner-child work, and creativity in many forms during counseling sessions.

As a counselor, it is a tremendous honor to walk with my clients through the many complexities of life. I find exquisite beauty in the full scope of the human experience and the unique nature of each individual. I welcome clients of any race, age, ability, religion, gender, and sexual orientation and identity. LGBTQ+ and non-monogamy allied and affirming.
